So here's the problem. I got to #50 Badass Adventures and I realized that I really don't want to stop!
My life has changed because of doing these adventures -- and hearing from all of you have been one of the most amazing parts. It makes me so happy that you have enjoyed coming along on the adventures or reading about them. And I have had an absolutely amazing time doing them.
So I'm going to keep going. I don't know if it is reasonable to get to 100 Badass Adventures by the time I turn 51. But I'm aiming to get 100 Adventures accomplished by the end of 2022. Sound reasonable?
Can I re-name this project to "50-ish Badass Adventues"? Or "Badass Adventures, the Sequel"? Or "Badassier Adventures'? What's your pick?
Friday night, some of the Badass Babes (and Jason!) and I went to see the Bach and Beatles Candlelight Concert in Ybor City.
I grew up on Bach since he is Mom's favorite composer. I remember as a little girl playing with my toys while I was sitting under our grand piano while Mom played Bach.
And the Beatles have always been a favorite of mine, since I decided to write my European History high school term paper on them. (I loved my term paper. My teacher didn't. Apparently, I didn't include enough information about Europe in it. He sux so bad. Not that I hold grudges, though.....)
So a combination of the two was too good to turn down. And the string quartet playing their music in a auditorum completely filled with flickering candles? Oh yeah!
I never made the connection how similar the two composers are until you hear them intermingled together. Absolutely fantastic concert. I know it hits home for me when I get goosebumps, and I had goosebumps during the entire concert. It was just wonderful!
Afterwards, we realized the cellist was getting ready to leave, so we ran over and goofed around with him, getting some photos along the way.

But the most fun part of the night was hysterically laughing our photos we took during the night. Here are some of the photos -- but the really funny ones cannot be shared on a public platform. And BTW, who was that random boy photobombing our photos?
Even a refined, cultural and classy event turns into a wildly fun and funny time with this posse.
Ybor City is a crazy place...we're going back next weekend for a completely different adventure. Stay tuned for more!
