#71 Rainbow Float

Not all badass adventures will have long narratives. (Stop it...no cheering allowed!).

Not all badass adventures will have tons of photos.

This is one of those.

It was a simple adventure. Relaxing, fun, bucket-list check!

Ang, Ellen and I floated down the Rainbow River on innertubes for two hours.

Rainbow River is a spring-fed river. The water was unbelievably clear and was a refreshing 70 degrees.

We saw three otters, lots of birds, one dragonfly that really liked Ellen's arm, and no alligators.

Here are some photos from our trip. (Please excuse the blurriness. I used Dad's waterproof camera and I can't figure out how to upload the photos so I went old school and took a photo of the camera screen. Don't judge. I'll put the real ones on once I figure out the tech).

It was a badass, llovely, wonderful adventure and I'm so glad we did it.

What makes adventures with these two "badass" is that they bring the crazy to our outings. I get back home after the adventure is done and my belly aches from all the laughing we did.

And we have two days of belly laughing since we stayed overnight at Ang's in order to get a super early start to the day. (Public service announcement: If you are planning to go to Rainbow River, it opens at 8am. We got there at 8:30am and were the third from the last cars that were able to be admitted before they closed with full capacity. We wanted to go to a waterfall spring when we were done with the tubing, but that area was closed because of full capacity as well. Ok...you've been warned.)

Between laughing at Smothered, screaming our coffee orders at Dunkin', watching Ellen's face when she plunged in the water after lunch, getting my wallet stolen (um...ANG!), Cheese babies and dropping the kids off at the pool, Ellen storming the tram, and "Todd", we have even more inside jokes to add to our list.

Love these ladies to pieces -- can't wait for our next adventure.
